Prof. Larry Shore will be screening his film RFK In The Land of Apartheid followed by a discussion.

Featuring never before seen archival footage, and interviews in South Africa and the United States,filmmaker Larry Shore tells the little-known story of Senator Robert Kennedy’s influential June 1966 visit to South Africa during the worst years of apartheid.
Opening remarks will be made by Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Robert Kennedy’s eldest daughter.

Prof. Andrew Demirjian’s solo show pause+rewind+connect+combine+sequence+delay+repeat is on exhibit Sept.12-Nov. 30 at the New Media ArtSpace – Baruch College. Prof. Demirjian will be giving an artist talk on Tues., Nov. 6th at 6 PM.

Prof. Amanda McDonald Crowley is curating an exhibition with works by Bronx artists Alicia Grullón, Blanka Amezkua, Fran Ilich, Francheska Alcantara, Walter Cruz, and Yelaine Rodriguez for Hostos Center for Art and Culture at Longwood Art Gallery @Hostos, in partnership with Bronx Council on the Arts, and Bronx Arts Alliance.
