The Journalism Program has 18 possibilities for you, including three sections of Reporting and Writing 1 and two sections of Reporting and Writing 2. As for electives, MEDPL 284: Radio Reporting and Podcasting and MEDP 399: Urban, Environmental and Health Reporting are both being offered for the first time in two years. Also on the schedule, Investigative Reporting, Neighborhood News, Entertainment Journalism and Feature Writing.

And if you haven’t taken MEDIA 211: News Literacy in a Digital Age, you have seven sections to choose from on Mondays along with an asynchronous lecture you can watch on your time and at your own pace.

If you have any questions, please email Journalism Program Director Prof. Sissel McCarthy at or stop by her office in Hunter North 525.
