IMA student Alex Mallis’ screening

MA student Alex Mallis will be screening a super 8mm film he made called “Under the BQE” at Mono No Aware:

Saturday, December 3rd
Causey Contemporary at 92 Wythe Ave. in Brooklyn, NY.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and performances begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
No fee for entry!

“Mono No Aware is, without a doubt, the most original and unique media festival in the U.S. and perhaps the world. It is devoted solely to live film projection performances that are designed solely for a singular presentation.”

Eyespeak IMA

The first Eyespeak Artist Talk of the year will kick off Wednesday, November 30th at 7PM with acclaimed documentary editor, producer and director Sam Pollard! He will present excerpts from the following works:

Style Wars
4 Little Girls
Shirley Chisholm: Unbought and Unbossed
When The Levees Broke
If God Is Willing
Marvin Gaye: What’s Going On
PLUS!
A sneak peak of his latest documentary, Slavery By Another Name
