Pulitzer Center Talk

Published and Award-winning Photojournalist Natalie Keyssar will speak at The Roosevelt House

The Pulitzer Center is hosting a talk at The Roosevelt House with award-winning Brooklyn-based photojournalist Natalie Keyssar. The event is on Tuesday, April 14th, from 6-8 p.m at the Roosevelt House (47-49 East 65th Street). Keyssar has documented social justice movements all over the country and around the world. 

The event will feature a presentation of Keyssar’s work, a conversation with Hunter’s Professor Seyam Bayram, and a deep dive into Keyssar’s introduction to journalism. The conversation will discuss topics and themes that shape Keyssar’s photography and the ethical challenges of documenting people in complex contexts. 

The talk will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a reception.

Keyssar’s work focuses on the human impact and broader issues and challenges. Political turmoil, migration, and youth culture are just a few of the topics Keyssar confronts. Her photography has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker. She has won many awards and has been a great addition to the world of photojournalism.
