Happy first day of the Spring semester, and welcome to the relaunched JOURNALISM @ HUNTER Instagram!
Today in revisiting journalism history, we take a look at the Pentagon Papers being published. These classified documents revealed the truth about what the United States was hiding during the Vietnam War, and greatly swayed public opinion on the war.
As we start a new semester, think about how we as journalists can move audiences with facts, research, and dedication to our craft. Have a great first day of classes!
"Joseph Pulitzer: Voice of the People" a documentary by Oren Rudavsky is currently playing at Quad Cinema 34 W 13th Street. This opening weekend there were scheduled Q&A sessions. The one question I wish I had asked: "can you tell us more about Kate?" You'll have to hit the box office to understand my intrigue, and take a closer look at the life of Joseph Pulitzer.
