Seats Available for Studio News Production Class Next Spring

control room 4

If you are an aspiring anchor, reporter or producer, seats are still available for MEDPL 388: Studio News Production (Wednesdays, 10:10 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

MEDPL 388 teaches you how to anchor and produce a live newscast for the Hunter community. Students take turns reporting on Hunter College news, sports and arts for the bi-weekly, student-run show, Hunter News Now.

This class is a great opportunity to practice your multimedia skills in a close-to-real-life newsroom environment.

The pre-requisite MEDPL 283 News Video Reporting can be waived for students with strong shooting and editing experience who have already taken MEDPL 202.

Please contact Prof. Sissel McCarthy at mailto:sissel.mccarthy@hunter.cuny.edu if you are interested.
