Prof. Kelly Anderson’s film “Never Enough” screening

Prof. Kelly Anderson’s film Never Enough, about “collecting, clutter and people’s relationships with their things,” will be showing in New York on Monday, Oct. 11. It will be presented as part of the City’s Reliquary’s fabulous event “Collectors’ Night,” where people bring and display original collections and anybody can bring a collection in a jar to share.

IMA Alum Benj Gerdes screening at Flaherty NYC

IMA Alum Benj Gerdes’ thesis and other work will be at the opening of the 3rd season of Flaherty NYC. The event will be presenting works from 2010 Flaherty Seminar featured artists Benj Gerdes and Jennifer Hayashida, including: Strike Anywhere, Populus Tremula, Iraq: Because There Are So Many, Happy Anniversary: San Francisco, March 20-21, 2003 and Terms of Service: When We Pretend, We’re in Control. There will be a post-screening discussion with the filmmakers, moderated by Penny Lane, Flaherty NYC programmer and independent filmmaker/educator/writer.
