IMA student Bryan Mark Urbsaitis’s video, Waiting for Repairs was featured in the article, New Push for Banks to Monitor Building Conditions, on City Limits. The video is a part of a collaborative project on buildings in distress in NYC, that he developed in an Urban Investigative Reporting class.

“The Cost of Fashion” projected at Lincoln Center
IMA students Nathan Fitch, Tennesse Watson, alum Grayson Earle and FM student Jesse Reyes projected the Rana Plaza’s collapse upon one of the walls of the Lincoln Center during Fashion Week.
The Rana Plaza was a clothing factory that collapsed in Bangladesh killing thousands of workers and leaving many others injured. Protests began when stores like Walmart, JCPenney and Mango have failed to compensate the victims of the disaster.

Integrated Media Arts MFA accepting Fall 2014 applications
The Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College (IMA MFA) is now accepting applications for the Fall 2014 class. The admissions deadline is coming this March 1st, 2014.
IMA MFA welcomes prospective students to apply from all backgrounds who demonstrate an interest in developing as an artist through this specialized integrated curriculum. A portfolio application is required as well as a project summary and personal statement submitted online in addition to the Hunter College Graduate Admissions Application Requirements.
