Short documentaries produced by students from CUNY School of Public Health, and the Department of Film and Media Studies – Integrated Media Arts IMA/MFA Program explore the role of the state, of stigma, and of commercial interests in shaping health.
Whether the issue is war-time exposure to deadly chemicals, a neighborhood’s food infrastructure, or the lasting devastation of a super-storm, the filmmaker’s highlight the role of the community in (re)claiming health and demanding justice.
