IMA students Chris Nostrand and Kayoko Nakamura’s, “Silent Exposure” will be screening in Brooklyn on January 28th as part of the Union Street Film Series. The event will be held on the 3rd tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at Spoke the Hub Recreation Center, 748 Union Street, Brooklyn.

Prof. Steve Gorelick interviewed on Pittsburgh Public Radio
As part of Contemporary Craft’s Enough: Artists Speak Out program, Prof. Steve Gorelick gave a talk in Pittsburgh on violence in the media and how it affects our daily lives. He was later interviewed by Paul Guggenheimer on Essential Pittsburg 90.5 WESA Pittsburg Public Radio.

Jason Fox organized a six-program series of films and videos for Flaherty NYC to run at the Anthology Film Archives. The program idea emerged from his research project in a Visual Culture Seminar and a Psychogeography course Jason Fox attended last year. The opening night, Friends With Benefits featured three films, Three Cheers For the Whale, Hamburger Dairies and The Natural History of the Chicken which in different ways addresses human interactions with animals.
