Prof. Ricardo Miranda’s work is part of a group exhibition:
2025 Shared Dialogue, Shared Space
Dec. 12, 2025 – Feb. 21, 2026
The Storefront for Ideas, powered by Immigrant Social Services (ISS), Chinatown, NY
Reception: Fri., Dec. 12 | 6-8 PM
The exhibition is a culmination of the 2025 Korea Art Forum Artist Fellowship for public art projects. The artist fellows are Ali Motamedi, Cecilia Lim, Lizbeth De La Cruz Santana, Ricardo Miranda Zuniga, and Moses Ros.
The exhibition will feature Prof. Miranda’s MIGRANTOPOLY, a Monopoly-style board game collapses the histories of U.S. immigration policy and gross domestic product to demonstrate the growth of the national economy due to immigration. Unsurprisingly, periods of isolationism correlate with economic stagnancy, whereas generous immigration policy has led to growth.
