Prof. Claudia Calhoun’s book, Only the Names Have Been Changed: Dragnet, the Police Procedural, and Postwar Culture (2022), has won the Peter C. Rollins Book Award by the Northeast Popular & American Culture Association. The prize is for “the best book on American or popular culture penned by a scholar who lives and/or works in New England or New York.”

Prof. Andrew Demirjian’s film screening & lecture

Prof. Andrew Demirjian will be showing his film Recalibrating in the 7th Intermedia Art Festival, China Academy of Art, School of Intermedia Art, Hangzhou, China, Nov.- Dec.
He will also be presenting a lecture called Listening to Change in an Immersive Technology panel at the Heritage and Affect Conference on Nov. 16th at Oklahoma University.
