IMA student Samantha Farinella is a finalist for the Big Sky Awards

Congrats to IMA student Samantha Farinella, as her documentary film Hunting in Wartime becomes a finalist for the Big Sky Award at the 13th annual Big Sky Documentary Festival.

“The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival has become the largest cinema event in Montana and the premiere venue for non-fiction film in the American West” (bigskyfilmfest.org).

Ayesha, Chana, Cristina, Denise, Leigh and Siji prepare for riding their bicycles in New York City’s brutal winter weather. During the process of layering up they discuss the burdens and benefits of winter cycling. YES I RODE HERE documents the interior world, both mental and physical, of these women who ride year-round.
