Radio Position

Paid Radio Host Position Open for CUNY Students at “CUNY Uncut”

CUNY students can apply to host CUNY Uncut, a student-centered radio show that highlights voices from across the university system.

The paid position offers $25 an hour for 20 hours a week and produces one episode per month, for a total of 10 episodes. Beyond hosting on air, the student will research and book guests, conduct interviews and promote episodes on social media. Applications are due March 31 and require a resume, a one-minute video introduction, and a letter of recommendation.

Organizers are looking for a host who is enthusiastic, natural, and conversational, someone especially excited to spotlight CUNY stories. Applicants must also show initiative behind the scenes, from identifying students and alumni to interview, to managing the editing and promotion of episodes. Students who are not graduating and perform well in their first season have the opportunity to continue in the role beyond the initial year.

The fellowship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the industry and share CUNY stories with a wide audience.

Apply for the CUNY Uncut host position.
