Hunter senior Amy Russo will spend two weeks in Sweden this summer reporting on the plight of the thousands of unaccompanied children who enter the country as refugees each year. Her trip is funded and supported by the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting, a non-profit journalism organization that supports in-depth coverage of under-reported global affairs, and her multi-media story will be published by the organization as well. Russo will be producing a story for the web, a gallery of photographs and an audio-slideshow to showcase her work. Stay tuned here for updates on the final published piece.
