In this engaging and disturbing digital-age thriller Aaron Clark seems to have it all: financial security, a beautiful, loving wife, and a close-knit circle of friends. But his orderly pleasures are rattled by the unexpected arrival of Teddy, a former classmate and persistent hanger on. Teddy was there when Aaronʼs successful dot com was launched, and now returns to seek a piece of the action which he thinks he deserves, relentlessly prying into Aaronʼs business affairs, hinting at improprieties, churning up the past. Set in a bucolic New Hampshire made ominous by Joe Foleyʻs cinematography, the film posts two warnings, as Teddy ratchets up the threats: be careful who plays in your digital sandbox and the ghost may not always stay in the machine.
