IMA alum Dylan Gauthier will discuss his exhibition, Artist talk: highwatermarks, at the Brandywine River Museum of Art in Pennsylvania. His art project is an immersive video and audio installation that presents a panorama on the course of Brandywine River and its surrounding communities. Gauthier will share insights about his research and documentation of the river and his work with Brandywine Conservancy staff throughout the course of his residency, and reflect on the role and power of art to shift societal perceptions of ecological issues.

IMA alumna Cristina Herrera’s film screening
Documentary film No Dress Code Required, written and directed by IMA alumna Cristina Herrera opens on Friday, November 3rd at Village East Cinema, NYC. The film chronicles the challenges of a gay Mexican couple overcoming a long series of bizarre hurdles and a bureaucratic system to get the rights to marry.
IMA alum Nathan Fitch’s screenings
IMA alum Nathan Fitch is the director, cinematographer and producer of Island Soldier – A documentary film about Micronesian citizens serving in the U.S. military, and the future of a small island nation. IMA alum Fivel Rothberg is producer on the film.
