IMA student Bryan Mark Urbsaitis’s video, Waiting for Repairs was featured in the article, New Push for Banks to Monitor Building Conditions, on City Limits. The video is a part of a collaborative project on buildings in distress in NYC, that he developed in an Urban Investigative Reporting class.
IMA alumna Melissa Nicolardi to screen The Pass it On Project at Museum of the City of New York
IMA alumna Melissa Nicolardi will present her documentary The Pass it On Project at the Museum of the City of New York on March 18 from 5-7 PM. The documentary follows a group of Brooklyn eighth-graders on a road trip to the sites of the Civil Rights Movement during the summer following President Obama’s 2009 inauguration. After the screening, educators can participate in a Q&A with the producer.
