Prof. Veronique Bernard’s film

Prof. Véronique Bernard co-produced, The Man Who Invented Himself: Duane Michals, was just awarded the Special Mention prize at the 31st FIFA (International Festival of Film on Art) in Montreal. It will be released theatrically and on DVD in France in November.

“My Brooklyn” screenings

Prof. Kelly Anderson’s “My Brooklyn” was screened in Frankfurt, Germany to a sold out audience and participated in an open forum on “urban economics” with architects, planners, and artists.

Upcoming screenings: tonight in Brooklyn, there is a free screening at the Park Slope Food Coop (7pm, 782 Union street, more info here). It is open to the public and Kelly will be there for a discussion.

On Sunday and Tuesday (April 7 and 9) the film will be screening in New Orleans, finding connections between Brooklyn and post-Katrina NOLA.
