Kelly Anderson) on the WABC TV Show HERE & NOW, Sunday, January 20th at 12
noon. Ramarly Graham’s parents and the son of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. (both
slain by the police) and filmmaker Tami Gold will also be on the show. Watch it!

“My Brooklyn” receives press

Prof. Kelly Anderson’s My Brooklyn at reRun Theater just over a week ago: sold out every screening! People were turned away at the door.

Because of all this success, IFP and Filmwax are presenting another 9-day run of My Brooklyn at reRun!

Anderson’s sensitive study of gentrification … traces a tale of aggressive rezoning, multimillion-dollar development deals and racial displacement. The history of the American city is in itself one of cyclical displacement, but here the apparent lack of transparency and official callousness are especially troubling.
