IMA student Alex Mallis – IMA / Urban Planning produced short doc recently released. The film was made in Prof. Kelly Anderson’s Media Community Advocacy class by Ryan Daniels, Ahmed Tigani, Rachel Mullon, and Alex Mallis. It was premiered the film before “My Brooklyn”.

A Voice for Vacancy is a short documentary about the efforts of Picture the Homeless, a homeless rights group, in their struggle to properly identify vacant properties in NYC – vacancies they argue could and should be reclaimed by communities and put to use.
