IMA student Rachel Brown’s thesis project, Disordered, is a collaborative and participatory street art which aims at destigmatizing mental health issues and reframing it as a societal issue. Participants will express what they learned from depression and anxiety and possible changes to promote better mental health by making signs and adding ideas to a sharing board. Fall 2013 iArt Show
On Friday, December 20th, from 5:00-7:00pm the Integrated Media Arts MFA and the Film and Media students will be hosting an evening of collaborative and individual works and installations which investigate space, sound and movement at the Hunter College Black Box Gallery. They will present their semester’s work at iArt 2013, Engage Now, Interactive Media Explorations. Come, touch, play, experience the works and meet the artists behind them.

Experience Music, Games, and Video in the World of Interactive Art
i-ART
Students in Hunter College’s undergraduate Interactive Media Production course will host the i-ART public exhibit of interactive installations. Throughout the semester, the students have been working on projects that allow them to express their artistic vision through computer programming and hands-on design. The third i-ART exhibition explores various technologies and equipment such as using sensors to detect different elements such as video, sound, and text to create real-time interactivity.
