As we wrap up the semester, we have an incredible lineup of events and some exciting changes planned for the new year. Whether you’re a long-standing member or looking to get in on the best of campus festivities, mark your calendars for these not-to-be-missed gatherings: 

December 4th: Holiday Tournament Winner Screening
Time: 2:30PM 
Location: Hunter North 506 

Join us as we showcase the winner of our Holiday Movie Tournament. The event will kick off with a brief prelude about the work, followed by a lively discussion. The film is TBD – chosen by the participating student body, the winner will be announced in the Hunter Film Society group chat. Voting is being conducted presently on our Instagram page @filmsocietyhc

Prof. Poyen Wang’s video work Endearing Insanity, will be shown as part of the 9th Ulaanbaatar International Media Arts Festival at the National Art Gallery, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The Ulaanbaatar International Media Art Festival (UBIMAF) will exhibit thought-provoking artworks from Mongolian and International artists from the 7th to the 19th of May, 2024. The media art festival will be held for the ninth year and will feature artworks by international artists from Germany, Taiwan, France, Slovenia, and America at the Mongolian National Art Gallery and Red Ger Gallery under the theme “Seeing is Believing”.
