IMA Alum Benj Gerdes’ work is at Museum of Moving Image & National Gallery of Art

Benj Gerdes’ thesis video from 2009, Strike Anywhere (HD, 32min) is playing in D.C. and the related film Populus Tremula (16mm, 9min) is playing in Astoria. Both pieces were made in collaboration with Jennifer Hayashida and showing at at the Museum of the Moving Image and in D.C. at the National Gallery. The work is from last summer’s Flaherty Seminar.
