Screening of Prof. Kelly Anderson’s “My Brooklyn”

My Brooklyn at the Park Slope United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 31st at 6:30pm. The church is at the intersection of 8th Street and 6th Avenue in Brooklyn.

The evening will include a screening of the film followed by an open discussion moderated by Michelle de la Uz, Executive Director of Fifth Avenue Committee and panelists Kelly Anderson, director of My Brooklyn; Lucas Shapiro of FUREE; Gib Veconi of BrooklynSpeaks, and New York City Council Members Letitia James (confirmed) and Steve Levin (invited). This is a great chance to talk with your neighbors, elected officials and informed activists about issues of development and gentrification in Brooklyn.
