America Abroad Media’s radio special, Understanding Islamic Feminism, has won a Gracie Award. The Gracie Awards honor programming by, for, or about women at the national level. IMA alumna Tennessee Watson produced a feature for this special about artist Nadia Manzoor.
The special examines Islamic societies around the world, and analyzes Islamic feminism, as well as the lives of women activists in those societies.
