FM student Cristian Zumba will screen his short doc Mis Banderas on Nov. 13th at the Museum of the City of New York – as part of the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival (IPRHFF).

About the film:
Mis Banderas amplifies the voices of three young Puerto Ricans in New York City as they explore what it means to live openly and proudly as queer while rooted in their culture. Their stories of struggle, and resilience connect with the experiences of earlier generations who also fought to exist authentically. Blending the personal with the collective, the film highlights how queer Puerto Rican identity continues to evolve, honoring the past while shaping a more inclusive future.
