Submit completed Narrative Films, Documentaries, Animations, Video Games, Creative Websites, Web Apps and Graphic Novel works.  The festival will be at the Lang Theater on October 27th and 28th.

Any Hunter student non-commercial works created since 9/1/2024 will be considered for the festival.

Prof. Ricardo Miranda will lead a conversation with four artists who are doing some of the most exciting and urgent work at the intersection of art and AI today. What happens to creativity when AI enters the room? Who gets to shape these technologies, and what do artists have to say about it? This panel will not offer easy solutions or answers. Instead, it will be an interactive, engaging conversation that takes these questions seriously, across all of the arts, which is what HUMANities x Tech is all about.

Hunter College students took their studies abroad this summer, traveling to London with Journalism Program Director Sissel McCarthy.

Students learned how to become more critical consumers of news while doing a deep dive into the U.K. news industry. 

As part of their team project, they visited six major news organizations, including the BBC, The Independent, PA Media and Sky News.

Each team researched the history and ownership of one news outlet and evaluated its stories for accuracy and partisan leaning. They then presented their findings to the class, putting their newly acquired news literacy skills into action.
