FM student Andrew Balaban wins 2024 Pulitzer Center Student Reporting Fellowship. He’s a Macaulay student who is minoring in journalism and will be reporting on how stormwater management practices in Portland, Oregon are adjusting to climate change and how volunteers are helping maintain green infrastructure.
Prof. Anna Sang Park is a Producer and an Executive Producer of the narrative feature film STOCKADE. STOCKADE had its world premiere at the Woodstock Film Festival and will be having its New York City premiere at theQueens World Film Festival this month.

Join the Department of Film and Media Studies April 9 – 11, 2024 for a series of events with Sainsbury Visiting Artist Alessandra Lacorazza. Lacorazza is a queer Colombian-American writer-director whose feature debut In the Summers won the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the Directing Award at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.After Maria, which she edited, was nominated for an Academy Award. As a worker-owner of the Meerkat Media Coop, Alessandra directs, produces, and edits artful and impactful videos for foundations, news magazines, publishers and non-profits.
