FM alum Ajit Dias nominated for award

FM alum Ajit Dias production from Spring 2019 @ Hunter

Ajit’s film, LOVE 77 has been nominated for the LGBTQ Image Award for the 12th Annual CUNY Film Festival!

Ajit Dias was the kind of student who always brought his A-game to the classroom, was never shy to get as much practice as he could, and was ever eager to learn as much as he could in my Techniques of Cinematography class. The film he crafted from a one-sentence story by Julio Cortázar, Love 77, demonstrates not only his ability to create beautiful and evocative images, but also a gift for adapting abstract concepts into compelling, thoughtful narratives
