Suzanne Schulz received a UFVA Graduate Student Fellowship

Megan Rossman and Samantha Farinella presented a panel on Fostering Multidisciplinary Collaboration in the Film Curriculum.

Megan Sperry (IMA alum, now faculty at SUNY New Paltz) presented on a panel: The New Moment: Teaching in the Wake of Social Change. Her presentation was titled, “Teaching Women in Film in the Midst of the #MeToo Movement.”

FM student Escarleth Fernandez’ honors project

FM student Escarleth Fernandez worked on creating an online resource for DREAMERS for her honor’s project. Using her film & media skills, she conducted interviews with immigrants and created a website to feature the interviews, resources, and scholarships available to undocumented students.
