On Sunday the 10th, IMA student Seyi Adebanjo will present Trans Lives Matter! Justice for Islan Nettles, at the San Francisco Transgender film festival 2:30 PM. The screening is based on the story of Islan Nettles who was beaten to death in front of a NYPD percent in Harlem.

IMA alumnae Sarah Nelson Wright and Laura Chipely Gallery Installation
On Thursday, November 7th to the 23rd, IMA alumnae Sarah Nelson Wright and Laura Chipely will feature their video installation Remote Voyages at the 111 Front Street Galleries in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Their exhibit will feature their project The Newton Creek Armada, that was collaborated with the North Brooklyn Public Art Coalition.
