Prof. Kelly Anderson’s My Brooklyn will be having a theatrical run

Prof. Kelly Anderson’s My Brooklyn will be having a week-long theatrical run! My Brooklyn was chosen by the Independent Filmmaker Project to be at Rerun Theater in Dumbo Jan. 4-10 and Jan. 25 – Feb. 3. The film will be playing every night, twice, and some days too. Allison and Kelly are organizing a great lineup of panels and discussion, including a showing of never-before-seen images of Downtown Brooklyn in the 1980s by Jamel Shabazz, discussions with neighborhood organizations about how we shape the future of our neighborhoods, presentations on the history of urban design at Fulton Mall, and much more.
For those of you wondering how the screenings at This Human World Film Festival in Vienna went a few weeks ago, Kelly wrote a short blog post on My Brooklyn’s website that gives a little taste. The film ranked 5th out of 80 films for the audience award!
