IMA student Chris Nostrand won the Terry Rouche Audience Choice Award for Garbage Girl at the Underexposed Film Festival in South Carolina. IMA student Kayoko Nakamura worked on Camera 2 on the film. Garbage Girl, a short film made by IMA student Chris Nostrand will be shown in the Underexposed Film Festival in South Carolina from November 14-16. Christopher Nostrand will be posting his experiences of his travels and the festival on his Facebook page, Garbage Girl Films.
Christopher Nostrand (IMA) produced his film Garbage Girl in Professor Michael Gitlin’s Microcultural incidents class last spring. With the help of IMA student Kayoko Nakamura, the film was accepted into The Underexposed Film Festival where it will be screening during November 14-16th at the Community Performance Center in South Carolina.
