Prof. Andrew Demirjian presented his algorithmically generated prints and glitch art sound visualizations at The Mirzoyan Library. In June, he screened two video poems in the XVIII International Festival of the Image, ImagenFest 2019, Manizales, Colombia. He also presented two papers at the Electronic Literature Organizations conference in Cork, Ireland in July and premiered a new spatial sound composition for drums and 8 boom boxes at the 3rd Annual Siren Arts Summer Exhibition Program in August.
This weekend, IMA student Seyi Adebanjo’s thesis will be screening in Austin with Allgo, Queer People of Color organization. The organization will be presenting The Orita Project an International Film and Dance Performance.
Heidi Boisvert will give her presentation at Harvestworks on Embodied Cognition, Complexity Theory & the Future of Bio-Adaptive Games on Monday, September 23rd. Part of the presentation will be demonstration and collaborative think tank.
