IMA alum Dylan Gauthier North Greenpoint tour

IMA alum Dylan Gauthier will be leading a walking discussion tour in North Greenpoint, Brooklyn as part of the breakout Sunday to the Creative Time Summit next Sunday the 27th. The walk will trace the footprint of Greenpoint Landing and 77 Commercial Street mega tower construction projects. They will discuss art and gentrification, urban edge zones and wilderness in the neighborhood. The walk will be followed by a dinner at the Sunview Luncheonette.

Prof. Kelly Anderson’s My Brooklyn screening on July 25th at 7pm. Filmwax is doing a series of films — BROOKLYN RECONSTRUCTED — on gentrification and development in Brooklyn (including some great IMA films like The Domino Effect). The series is free and open to the public.
