Turning Points is a collection of recordings of monologues, music, and short scenes exploring personal experiences with the stigma of mental illness. This audio project was created to be shared with friends, family, psychiatrists, and social workers with the intention to create critical dialogue around the subject of mental illness and recovery.

The eighth annual showcase of Hunter College’s MFA in Integrated Media Arts program (IMA-MFA) – will open in Hunter College’s Black Box Gallery. In the past the two day exhibited a body of digital and new media art, including video, interactive, installation, performance, and web based art, produced by students and faculty of the IMA-MFA program.

Please join us for this Spring’s Integrated Media Arts Gathering
This is a great opportunity for both incoming students and potential applicants as well to get a sense of the program offerings, and for everyone in the IMA community it is a chance to check in and socialize a bit.
As usual, we will be offering an overview of the IMA courses being planned for Fall 2010 and beyond. We will also get a chance to look at work by students and faculty including a presentation of recent work by Jennifer Jacobs (hero-worship.com) and Prof. Ricardo Miranda (ambriente.com) ! Refreshments will be served.
