On Friday, December 20th, from 5:00-7:00pm the Integrated Media Arts MFA and the Film and Media students will be hosting an evening of collaborative and individual works and installations which investigate space, sound and movement at the Hunter College Black Box Gallery. They will present their semester’s work at iArt 2013, Engage Now, Interactive Media Explorations. Come, touch, play, experience the works and meet the artists behind them.

Alice Arnold’s Electric Signs screening at Harvestworks
IMA alumna Alice Arnold will be screening her film, Electric Signs on Tuesday, December 3rd at Harvestworks. Electric Signs is a documentary about signs, screens and the urban environment. The film features a variety of urban landscapes, examining public spaces and making connections between light, perception and the culture of attractions in today’s consumer society.
IMA student Wendell Cooper’s Light in Matter
IMA student Wendell Cooper will be showing his work-in-progress Light in Matter on Thursday December 5th in Hunter North 436. The show will feature his audio/video installation and a live dance performance.
