2016 Aronson Awards film screening

Come to the 2016 Aronson Awards Film Screening. The screening will feature Melissa Saucedo Gonzales’s Before David and Samantha Farinella’s Hunting in Wartime. The screening will be on Wednesday, November 9th at 6:30pm at Hunter College in the Lang Hall/HN424. Enter through the Hunter College 69th street entrance which is between Park and Lexington Ave. The event is free and open to the public.

IMA student Deepak Rauniyer’s screening

IMA student Deepak Rauniyer’s film, White Sun premiered at the 2016’s Venice Film Festival, followed by the Toronto International Film Festival and is now playing at the Busan Film Festival. Check out the trailer here.

Prof. Michael Gitlin’s screening

The Digital Media Collective, a student-led group at the Hunter Studio Arts MFA will be screening Prof. Michael Gitlin’s film The Earth Is Young. Prof. Gitlin will be introducing the film. Q&A following the screening.
