Anna Sang Park is a director, writer, producer, and educator whose work explores migration, the Korean diaspora, immigrant identity, and intergenerational family dynamics. Born in South Korea, she immigrated to Philadelphia at age eight.

She is the writer and director of the short film trilogy The Cho Stories which centers on a Korean American mother’s gambling addiction and its impact on her family. The trilogy has received widespread recognition, including the Audience Award at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, Best Short Film at the Peekskill Film Festival, and honors at the Bushwick Film Festival and Loudon Arts Film Festival. 

Anna has also made her mark in both documentary and television. She directed and produced nine short documentaries for Theatre Communications Group’s Legacy Leaders of Color Video Project, and directed over 90 episodes of Say Yes to the Dress and its spin-offs. Her producing credits include the narrative feature Stockade, which premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival and won Best Narrative Feature at the Queens World Film Festival, as well as Wallabout, awarded Best Narrative Feature at the Bushwick Film Festival and Best Personal Narrative Film at the Manhattan Film Festival. Wallabout had its theatrical distribution in Paris, France and is streaming on Amazon. Stockade had its theatrical release in Los Angeles and is streaming on over 10+ platforms including Apple, Amazon, Tubi & Roku. She served as the development producer on the Emmy and Peabody winning documentary The Loving Story, based on the landmark Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia.

Her work has been recognized with fellowships, grants and honors. Anna holds an MFA in Directing from Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College and a BFA in Film from Emerson College. She is a member of the Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, Alliance of Women Directors, BGDM, Film Fatales and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
