Come and hear the experiences of your professors who are documentary filmmakers. They will speak about their work, the many different jobs they have had in the field of non-fiction filmmaking from shooting the news for German TV to working on short training videos for community groups. This will be a great opportunity to learn first hand about the Documentary/Video sequence at Hunter and different types of jobs and experiences you could get from a Concentration in Documentary Filmmaking.
Professors/filmmakers Kelly Anderson, Michael Gitlin, Tami Gold, Marty Lucas and Shanti Thakur will share some of their work and talk about their professional journeys into the world of documentary filmmaking. College Lab Technician Peter Jackson will share his history from being an undergraduate to working in non-fiction commercial production.
