IMA alumna Annie Berman has received a grant from Wave Farm’s Media Arts Assistance Fund (MAAF.) The Fund, which is a partner of the Regrant program of the New York State Council of the Arts, has also selected seven other artists across many genres of visual media.
She has been selected to receive the grant for her project, Utopia 1.0: Post-Neo-Future-Capitalism in 3D! The project is a tour of the popular online virtual world, Second Life. The fund provides grants to artists creating visual media, and helps to publicize their works.
