Life After IMA brings alumni working in fields across the media landscape to discuss their professional and creative paths after receiving their MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College in a round of short presentations followed by a spirited spring mixer.

Congrats to IMA student Alex Mallis!

IMA student Alexander Mallis has won the Aronson Award for Short Doc/News for his short video AFTER TRAYVON.

Synopsis: One day after George Zimmerman was acquitted of the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon
Martin, a group of young men gathered in Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn, and discussed Trayvon’s death, Stop and Frisk, and daily life.

The celebration is on Monday, April 28th at 7 PM at Roosevelt House part of the Aronson Awards Event.
