On October 22nd at John Jay College, Professors Sha Sha Feng and Tami Gold presented a work-in-progress entitled: SURVEILLANCE: Silence = Death, A response to Surveillance, Whistleblowers, Consumerism and Culture through Art. This presentation was apart of The Snowden Affair: The Surveillance State which was a symposium where the social, political, historical and cultural implications of the Snowden Affair were explored.

IMA student Nathan Fitch’s film screening at the Eye of the Storm Opening Night
IMA student Nathan Fitch will be screening his film, The Darker Side of Dreamland, as apart of the Eye of the Storm Opening night at the Made in NY Media Center. It will be screening at 8PM. Doors will open at 7 PM.
Eye of the storm is a collection of documentary short films, both irrevent and commemoratory about and inspired by Superstorm Sandy
IMA alumnae Betty Yu and Chloe Smolarski Discussion and Workshop at the Digital Media Conference
IMA alumna Betty Yu will be one of the speakers at the Saturday Morning Plenary as apart of a Digital Media Conference. The plenary opens at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 26. Chloe Smolarski will be hosting a workshop and screening her film afterwards.
