Position Title: IMAGINE ENTERTAINMENT Intern
Location: In Person in NYC Office

Imagine Documentaries has established itself as a powerhouse in the documentary landscape since its inception in 2018. Founded by Imagine Entertainment Co-Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, the division has redefined the industry with its unwavering commitment to producing impactful, socially conscious, and thought-provoking content. Its critically acclaimed and award-winning documentaries have resonated with audiences worldwide, solidifying Imagine as a driving force in the art of storytelling.
Internship Summary:
This internship will provide you with exposure to a variety of areas within Imagine Documentaries including development, production, and post production. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with an Entertainment-related degree or has a deep interest in working in the Entertainment industry. This is a paid internship.
Intern duties may include but not be limited to:
● Providing research for ad-hoc projects including tracking down contact details.
● Reading books/articles and listening to podcasts and providing coverage.
● Updating and maintaining staffdatabases on AirTable and documents on Google Drive..
● Proofreading and providing feedback on documents including outlines, pitches, decks.
● The opportunity to pitch documentary features and series ideas internally.
● Assisting in transcribing archival videos and prepping shoots.
● Opportunities to assist on set including going on runs.
● General office upkeep and assistance.
Qualifications:
● Recent graduate with an Entertainment-related degree or has a deep interest in working in the Entertainment industry (post-high school only).
● Reliable Internet access required.
● Access to a laptop.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong research skills.
● Immersion in pop culture, film, tv, music, podcasts and social media trends are a plus, but not required.
● Ideal candidates should be passionate about documentaries and eager to learn about all aspects of development.
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
