Position: 2-3 days/week.
Project description: Cineflix Media has offices in New York, London, Toronto and Montreal, and produces documentary and unscripted television programs.
This is a great opportunity to take part in creating hit TV for the nation’s premiere networks. The internship is perfect for anyone interested in documentaries, unscripted TV, and production/doc filmmaking from the ground up.
Intern Duties:
• Assist producers with research. • Assist producers with casting. • Transcribing interviews and logging footage. • Assisting on shoots. • Office support: creating documents, filing, running errands etc…
About the Program: • Position is available starting spring semester. • Length of internship is at least four months, with an opportunity to extend the internship. • School credit. • Daily lunch stipend.
Requirements:
A major or minor in film, television, video, media, journalism or communications is a plus, as is a strong interest in history, sports, politics, business or the arts. Experience using Avid, Final Cut, Premiere &/or video cameras is desirable but not essential.
Laptop required, as are strong research and writing skills and experience using Microsoft Office. Looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, good-humored person who wants to be part of creating a documentary or unscripted TV series from the ground up.
