Pentimento Productions, a documentary film company in Brooklyn, is seeking an intern to help with our latest project, a new music documentary. Our most recent films include Jane Fonda in Five Acts (2018), Very Ralph (2019), and The Janes (2022) – all for HBO.
We are looking for someone to join us starting at the beginning of September for two days per week from 11am-6pm ET and stay on through the end of the semester. As an intern, you would work very closely with the production team and would communicate with key members of our small team in both NY and LA. This is a great opportunity to get to see how the production and edit phase of a project comes together.
Specific tasks include:
– Conducting in-depth archive research
– Transcribing interview footage
– Logging and organizing archival assets in our database
– Various day-to-day tasks including mailings and other general business errands
