Good Afternoon Colleges & Universities,
My name is Kristine Maria Gonzalez (she/they), the Associate Director at Movement Research. I hope you are enjoying the remainder of your summers wherever you are in this world.
I am reaching out today to announce our upcoming Fall Internships here at MR. We are beyond excited to offer these opportunities to your students and we look forward to welcoming many of them into the MR Community.
The Movement Research Internship Program supports early career artists and arts workers in learning valuable skills in the areas of nonprofit performing arts administration, production and event management. The MR Internship Program hosts ongoing internships during the Fall and Spring seasons, as well as winter and summer internships geared toward college and university students and recent graduates. The MR Internship Program has a work-study structure — interns work with and are mentored by MR staff and, in exchange, receive access to MR classes and select workshops.

The MR Internship Program for the fall is equipped to work with students who are seeking credits through a college program or course. Detailed information for each internship can be found on our website: https://movementresearch.org/programs/internships
Current COVID-19 Health and Safety measures: To apply for an in-person position, proof of vaccination must be provided. Unvaccinated individuals are eligible to apply for a remote internship.
To apply for one of these positions, please have your students submit a cover letter and resume reflecting relevant experience.
To apply for a Critical Correspondence Internship email a cover letter, resume, and writing sample.
For all positions, send materials to internship@movementresearch.org. Our immediate deadline for all applications is August 13, 2023, but will be accepting and fulfilling these roles on a rolling basis.
