SOHH.com presents a 4-week multimedia journalism internship for students starting careers in digital media. As the demand for quality content is expanding, we have set out to recruit and train talented and motivated writers with unique perspectives and ideas to join our writer’s pool. Our Writer’s Training Program is designed to recruit, train, and build the next generation of journalists here at SOHH and beyond. The training takes place over a course of 4 weeks with weekly training sessions that consist of short video Teaching Modules, a 1 hour Live Coaching Session and asynchronous Activities to complete. And the best part is that we pay you to learn. During this internship students will:
- Experience everything from pitching, researching to writing stories in a fast-paced news environment.
- Build your writer’s portfolio with published works to our nationally recognized media platform.
- Receive a $500 training bonus upon a successful completion of the program.
- Qualify to advance to level one writer status and become a paid journalist after training.
