Equipment Room – Camera Production Assistant – CUNY TV
Spring 2023
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the upkeep, maintenance, inventory control, and minor repairs of field equipment, including video cameras, audio equipment, microphones, lavaliers, lighting equipment, and recording devices.
- Accompany staff videographers on-field remote assignments in a production assistant capacity.
- Assist and operate in-studio television cameras and teleprompters.
Qualifications and Skills:
- General computer skills and familiarity with video production equipment.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability. Resourcefulness and problem-solving. A team player with great communication skills.
- Film, Television, and/or Communication majors.
- Attach or link reels or sample work to your resume.
Duration: Spring 2023 academic semester, 01/25/2023 – 05/23/2023
Hours/Days: 8 to 12 hours/week. One to three days a week.
